About Walk by Faith: 100K Steps Across Indy
In recent years, Outreach’s Director of Operations, Faith Musgrove, has rediscovered her love for walking. What started as quiet reflection time quickly turned into a bigger idea: taking 100,000 steps in one day. That’s when the idea for Walk by Faith began.
On April 23, 2026, Faith, alongside a few Outreach team members, will set out to walk 100,000 steps across Indianapolis, stopping along the way at local businesses and engaging with the community.
The team is inviting others to join in, whether that’s walking a portion of the route, stopping by along the way, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting the fundraiser.
Just like the youth Outreach serves, many of us are walking long, uncertain roads. As Faith shared, “God’s been inviting me to be present in the current moment when the journey’s end seems impossibly far off.”
Sometimes, what makes the biggest difference during a long journey is knowing someone is willing to walk alongside you… even if it’s just for a few steps.
