Outreach
A Partnership Home Run with IIC

Indianapolis Indians Charities (IIC), the charitable arm of our city’s beloved minor league baseball club, is a dedicated supporter of numerous organizations and worthy causes throughout the area. Approximately two years ago, IIC reached out to include Outreach among that group.
Indians Charities was impressed with the many ways we serve youth and young adults experiencing homelessness, and how we help them achieve both stability and life transformation. A recent IIC donation of $10,000 will help ensure that several of our programs continue to impact these young people in a big way. The contribution is earmarked for the purchase of bus passes for transportation to work and job training programs, for work-appropriate clothing, and for technical and trade equipment for our high school graduates. (Outreach had 28 graduates in 2020, and another 15 this year.)
The ever-expanding partnership between Outreach and IIC was spotlighted recently in a very public manner. Fans of the Tribe who ventured to Victory Field during June & July were introduced to Outreach, our mission and our programs through a feature article in the Indians’ official game day program, Curtain Call. The article also highlighted Outreach supporter (and Indians partner) Elements Financial, described how the three form the “perfect blend to (ensure) youth and young adults at Outreach have basic needs to stay on their feet,” and ended with a call to volunteer with or donate to Outreach.

We greatly appreciate the support of Indianapolis Indians Charities and Elements Financial, and look forward to long and beneficial partnerships with both!
