Knowing the Unknown – Josh’s Story

Josh Pack
Satellite Specialist Manager

"I see youth being seen and known through our ARCH program. In this, we sometimes need to have a quick response team to a student whose life turned upside down in a short period of time. The stability we can bring quickly as part of their team alongside social workers, teachers, etc., is incredible.

I also see youth being seen and known through our volunteers at the Old Southside Center. While Outreach was closed on July 4th (Tuesday), they ran a community night for our young people. They opened the building and took care of things like they normally would, but they also collected/donated all the food, cooked, and cleaned up the kitchen. Apart from not having case management or sign in, the youth and young adults probably didn't realize it wasn't an Outreach night." – Josh Pack

In Josh's role, he has the unique opportunity to witness how youth are seen and known through various programs and relationships. We are so excited to announce that as of January 1st, Josh will be transitioning into the role of Satellite Specialist Manager, overseeing Outreach's satellite centers, so join us in celebrating with Josh!
