DAO Recycling (www.applianceremovers.com ), is a local business that has a mission to help employ those who have barriers to employment. Outreach, Inc. takes approximately 10 youth each week to volunteer at DAO and through this process several of our youth between the ages of 18 and 23 have been employed with DAO over the last 6 months. Approximately 60 other youth have had the opportunity to improve their work ethic while volunteering with DAO through Outreach, Inc. Many of these youth have a criminal background that would otherwise prevent them from gaining employment in the near future.
Dealer Services Corporation employees have gotten behind our mission by holding supply drives to collect street food, socks, and other supplies, by holding in-office fundraising special events like “battle of the sexes” contests, “Penny Wars” coin collections, “Pay To Wear Jeans/Hats Day” and more.
